Gifts and Ministry
My gift is evangelism and business. Juanita’s gift is administration.
We are meeting weekly with leading pastors and Christian leaders in our area. We started in person and moved to Zoom as we spend our winters in Florida working from our winter home.
Pastor Mark Scafidi
Our pastor, Mark Scafidi, seamlessly engages in ministry with over 40 different churches in our region, from Baptist to Assembly of God.
He met his wife right after graduating from high school and told a friend, “I’m going to get that girl saved and marry her.” It wasn’t long before she committed her life to Christ and started attending church with him.
Her extended family were Catholic and concerned about this. Her parents asked their priest, and he said, “If attending a Protestant church with Mark is what it takes for Stella to come to know the Lord, I’m ok with it.” This allayed Stella’s parents’ concerns. What a wise man!
Pastor Kent Fowler
Kent Fowler, part of our group, used to be a traveling evangelist and is now pastoring a local church. He is preparing an online seminar on Spirit-Led Evangelism. It is for every Christian and can benefit people in your church. We will keep you posted when it is available.
Juanita and I, along with Kent’s wife, Karen, have heard Kent move into deep and impactful spiritual conversations with waitresses and restaurant management. This is the expertise Pastor Kent will be sharing.
Rob and Cherylyn “C.C.” MacIntyre
Rob and Cherylyn “C.C.” MacIntyre have a church that meets Sunday mornings at Kingdom’s building. Rob is a talented bi-vocational pastor. He is an industrial electrician by trade and will be the first to tell you that he is not really a pastor, but a revivalist.
I believe C.C. has a real pastoral gift because of how she cares for people. She says that she does not really have the gift of Pastor, but is more of a teacher. She teaches an adult Sunday School class weekly in person and online on Bible Faith and on the Authority Of The Believer. I believe she has a gift in prayer and faith. She and Rob make an incredible combination.
David Ayer's Destiny-Focused Leadership
David Ayer is gifted and calling people to find and to fill their destiny in God. Under his leadership, one couple in his church, New Life Church in Canton, PA, discovered they have a pastoral calling and have bought a hotel. They are remodeling it to use it to house people in transition out of addiction or other negative life situations, allowing them to gain lifeskills and grow in their relationship with Jesus in a safe environment.
David is creating courses: one for leaders to encourage people to find their destiny, one for people to fulfill their destiny, and one for business leaders to encourage their workers to extend themselves for the benefit and welfare of their community.
Suzette Neal's Community Housing Initiative
Suzette Neal is doing something amazing in the business community. She is developing a community-owned initiative to address the severe rental housing shortage in our area. Suzette is using a unique approach to business using a platform that allows anyone to invest and share in returns. A community effort to solve a community need, with Christ as the center! How cool is that?
Juanita's Gift
Many Christian leaders across the nation and even the world have called my wife Juanita’s remarkable gift “prophetic administration.” She seems to know that if you do certain things administratively, what the outcome will be, even though she hasn’t seen that exact situation before. She is using her talents to bring our region together.
God has enabled me to generate some treasure, and I am bringing some of this to the table.
