- I do recommend both the pulpit and the table to others.We purchased this pulpit and communion table because of the modern look and the convenience of their light weight. We have found that they really enhance the platform area by making it more spacious and allowing me to move around more as I preach. It only takes one person to move the podium as compared to 2 or 3 before. We will move both of these for our upcoming VBS, and both items easily fit in a nearby storage room. The church ladies have commented that they are a beautiful addition to the church. They go well together and are a great match. The only thing I would change is to make the middle of the pulpit more sturdy. The foundation and the top are very sturdy, but the middle part could use more support. The table is very sturdy.
