These speakers are great for sound reinforcement, DJ Gigs, and even for vocals or acoustic instruments.  The bottom woofer handles your low, sub frequencies, much like an external subwoofer would do.  The Middle speaker handles the mid range frequencies while the tweeter makes your high frequencies sing.  With an extremely wide frequency range of 48Hz - 19kHz, these speakers can easily handle any situation you want to put them in.  The PRX425 speakers have a 90°x50° coverage so all of your audience or congregation is sure to hear them.  JBL wants to make sure your speakers live a long life so they built the enclosures with rugged construction an put a Heavy Duty 16 guage grill on the front to protect the speakers.
